Background
Several aspects must be considered before diving into use of OpenRIMS at a Regulatory Authority.
This article will highlight the main aspects and provide links to further information needed to make a good project plan.
Roles and Responsibilities
First and foremost - OpenRIMS depend on solid, verified and approved Standard Operating Procedures. This cannot be emphasized enough.
These SOPs are controlled by the Process Owners.
To automate and configure these SOPs in OpenRIMS we have designated System Owners. They are trained on setting up the Workflows according to the SOPs.
